Install from Microsoft AppSource

The quickest way to install either add-in is through Microsoft AppSource.

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Go to InsertGet Add-ins (or Office Add-ins on some versions).
  3. In the Store tab, search for Template Helper or Working Document Helper.
  4. Click Add to install the add-in.

The add-in appears in the Home tab of the Word ribbon. Click the icon to open the task pane.

You can also install directly from the AppSource website:

TIP

If your organisation manages Office centrally, your IT administrator may need to approve the add-in before it appears in the Store tab.

Verify the installation

After installing, confirm the add-in is working:

  1. Click the add-in icon in the Home ribbon tab.
  2. The task pane opens on the right side of Word.
  3. You should see the welcome overlay with a brief feature summary.
  4. Click Got it — Let's start to dismiss the overlay and begin.

Uninstalling

To remove the add-in:

  1. Go to InsertGet Add-ins.
  2. Select My Add-ins.
  3. Find the add-in, click the three-dot menu, and choose Remove.
